Organizational Learning (OL) is seeking an innovative Consultant who supports the comprehensive planning, design, consultation and implementation of programs, services and initiatives to support the development of employees across the Nova Scotia Community College. This position requires strong ability to work proactively and strategically in order to create and nurture collaborative relationships within a complex matrix organization.
In partnership with College leaders, you support the design and development of innovative college-wide development strategies, processes and systems that enable the development of current and future talent across the College.
You conduct corporate needs analysis, develop and maintain a networking relationship with external educational institutions, and you stay abreast of national and international best practice research. You maintain on-going consultation with leaders and the College community to ensure services being delivered meet both current and future business needs of the organization and learner expectations.

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
The minimum educational qualification for this position is an undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or discipline relevant to the position. A concentration in Adult Education or a Certificate or Diploma in Adult Education would be considered an asset.
You have a minimum of 5 years of recent and related occupational experience in the field of adult learning, training and development, teaching and learning and leadership development. You have specific experience in: designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs and services that meet adult learning principles; facilitating courses, workshops, and other learning events; assessing learning needs, identifying and implementing appropriate solutions; consulting with clients and partnering with stakeholders to develop customized programs that meet organizational needs; and managing large scale learning events such as employee conferences.
Occupational experience that includes: design and delivery of blended or online learning; and design and delivery of credit courses for a post-secondary institution would be considered an asset.
You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, and Sharepoint. Experience with D2L would be considered an asset.
