What you will be doing…
Schedule meeting rooms for Akerley Campus for day-to-day and reoccurring meetings, workshops, extra classes and computer labs as well and other large events. Provide meeting rooms on short notice, which sometimes means moving people from different rooms to accommodate certain needs (requirements for their meetings, phones, Smartboards etc). Meet and speak with external clients, and provide support to those who want to rent rooms at the campus.
Prepare rental agreements to send to clients with Risk Assessment and Waiver forms and also providing username and passwords for computer use. Gathering information for room set-up of events and send to Facilities for event set-up.
Provide office administration for the campus Facilities Management Office including staff training and payroll records; project records; financial records; and compliance based inspection and preventative maintenance records.

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
The minimum educational qualification for this position is a Diploma in Office Administration or Business.
You have a minimum of 1 year of recent and related occupational experience in related administrative and/or event coordination.
You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, and PeopleSoft
You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work
