Are you a highly motivated self-starter, with a keen interest in the design and development of the latest in digital electronics. Do you have proven experience in the coordination of information, timelines and management of people and projects? Are you interested in a role working as part of a team as well as leading Engineering projects? We currently have a role within our Engineering team:
Responsibilities of the role include the following:
Design experience with C/C++, FPGA/CPLD, embedded systems, signal conditioning and data conversion;
Design experience with network programming, web servers and web UI
Working within a team environment, while supporting departments across the company;
Representing the company through direct customer contact and at events such as industry conferences, trade shows and presentation of technical papers.
Job Qualifications and Skills Desired
The ideal candidate would have spent at least five years demonstrating excellence in the design of mixed digital/analog systems; they will have a Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of achievements and education;
Ability to lead, work well with others as well as independently;
Proven problem solving and analytical skills;
Familiarity with any of the following would be an asset:
Digital Signal Processing
High speed digital design and layout
Power supply technology
The ability to obtain, and maintain, Controlled Goods clearance (as outlined in Section 15 of Canada’s Controlled Goods Regulations), or other security clearances, may be a requirement of this role. Interested applicants should submit their covering letter, transcript and resume.
