To better serve the youth we aim to reflect their diversity in our staff contingent. ______________________________________________________________________________ Job Summary: Reporting to the Sr. Director of Development the Database and Office Administrator offers support to Fund Development in the area of donor relations. The key duties of this position are internal processing of gifts, generating receipts and thank you letters, database management and managing the office.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. with some flexibility and occasional evening work.

Screening Requirements: This position is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check including a vulnerable sector search, a child abuse register check and proof of education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Database Management (The Raiser’s Edge)  Internal processing of gifts received by credit card and direct debit transactions  Receipting and thank you letters for: Events (two signature events and third-party events), direct mail appeals, in-kind donations, monthly donors.  Supporting marketing and communications (e.g. managing email marketing data, printing and collateral for events, support for third party initiatives)  Office Administration: ordering office supplies, responding to inquiries, supporting events, working with equipment service providers, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS  Diploma related to the position; or experience working in an office;  Proficiency using The Raiser’s Edge database;  Excellent customer service skills;  Exceptional attention to detail;  Understanding of charitable law and CRA guidelines an asset.
