BFM (Halifax) Enterprises Society, (a voluntary non-denominational Christian not-for-profit organization and a member BFM Foundation Canada thrift stores nationwide, converts donated used goods into cash with the purpose to place the Word of God worldwide, in Partnership with Bible League Canada, is looking to hire a fulltime Warehouse & Maintenance Supervisor.
The Warehouse & Maintenance Supervisor is an important member of the Bible for Missions team, as he or she will assist with all aspects of receiving donated goods and ensuring quality of merchandise to be resold, as it is representative of our brand. He or she will also oversee the maintenance of BFM property and vehicle. The Warehouse & Maintenance Supervisor works to support the Store Manager and the rest of team, including volunteers, to meet or exceed customer expectations.
The Warehouse & Maintenance Supervisor must have a minimum of a High School diploma, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehousing, and have completed OH&S, WHMIS and First Aid training. The successful candidate must have a clean criminal record and Vulnerable Sector check.
