We are pleased to offer the St. John Ambulance Emergency First Aid course that meets the regulations of the Nova Scotia Department of Environment & Labour, Occupational Health & Safety Division.  This is an ideal starter course, which includes basic CPR.

Emergency First Aid

• Emergency Scene Management
• Shock, Unconsciousness and Fainting
• Artificial Respiration (Adult)
• Choking (Adult)
• Severe Bleeding

CPR Level A ("Heart Start")

• One rescuer CPR for adults
• Artificial respiration for adults
• Choking manoeuvres for adults

Skills are evaluated after the course by a written or oral test.  When the test is passed, certificates are issued that day.

Fee: $40.00 per person.
Time: 8 hours (minimum of 8 participants per class)
